Welcome to Trinity Baptist Church‘s “On Mission” blog! We are located at the corner of Springfield and Spall in beautiful Kelowna, BC, Canada.
We are sent out by Jesus to make a difference in this world. We are called to represent Jesus in every culture so that we might reach all humanity for Him.
This site is dedicated to telling the stories of Trinity On Mission. If you have a story to tell, please email us at OnMission@trinitybaptist.net.
For further information on pursuing your part in impacting this world for Jesus, please call Candace at 250.860.3273 or email cgiesbrecht@trinitybaptist.net.
Our Guiding Values are:
1. The priority of EVANGELISM: Our highest calling is to reach out to our community and our world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
2. A commitment to COMPASSION and JUSTICE: Because of God’s concern for the plight of the under-resourced and suffering, we are also called to demonstrate His love by playing a role in attempting to ease human misery.
3. Faithfully HONOURING OUR HERITAGE: While encouraging innovation and exploring new opportunities, we affirm Trinity’s rich mission heritage and its long-standing relationships.
4. The wisdom of WORKING OUT OF OUR STRENGTHS: We’ll make the greatest difference when we prioritize ventures congruent with what we do best, and where we possess the spiritual gifts required to act.
5. Emphasizing MAXIMUM INVOLVEMENT: Mission becomes culturally ingrained in part on the basis of the number of people involved. We want to create ways for increasing numbers of individuals and families to participate.
6. Evaluation based on EFFECTIVENESS: We will not maintain mission initiatives that prove to be ineffective in accomplishing their stated purpose.
7. Emphasizing the concept of MAXIMUM IMPACT: We’ll sow good will and create momentum when we celebrate initiatives that consistently produce the greatest impact.
